Our Community, Our Healing

To speak of the Hispanic community in the United States is to acknowledge a history marked by traumatic experiences: the struggle to get here, insecurity, fear, sadness, nostalgia, and abandonment. It also means speaking of separation, loss of identity, and emotional dysfunction.

All these emotions—as Psychobioenergetics teaches—remain trapped in the muscular shell and manifest as chronic pain and imbalances, both physical and emotional.

These conditions intensified with the pandemic that began in 2019, which, in addition to impacting global health, brought with it an increase in the cost of living, generating even more anguish, stress, and uncertainty.

Tolteca Healing Arts was born as a conscious response to these needs. We recognize that our Hispanic community is one of the largest and, at the same time, one of the most vulnerable in this country, especially in terms of physical and emotional health.

We firmly believe in the wisdom of our ancestral cultures. We carry in our genetic code the knowledge of self-care, just as our grandparents practiced it.

Our goal is to share and teach holistic complementary health techniques: safe, non-invasive practices that can be performed both at home and in community workspaces. We also seek to collaborate with other organizations to offer holistic wellness to their teams and communities.

“We have a duty to love and serve life.”
